A feeling and the stories we carry forward.

Why we are called A Sunday Story.

A long Sunday lunch table under a striped parasol in an English garden

Sunday is the day time slows down: long lunches drifting into the afternoon, markets wandered without a list, newspapers read from cover to cover, pool days, family days and the quiet pleasure of doing very little and feeling very lucky.

A story is what remains when an object has truly been lived with: its provenance, its mystery and the lives it touched before ours.

Every piece we choose already has a story. We make sure you can feel it before the piece comes home, then invite you to add the next chapter.

Put the words together and A Sunday Story is not a day of the week. It is the feeling of an afternoon slow enough to notice what is in front of you and the object worth noticing.

Objects worth finding. For homes that tell stories.
