Born from a friendship and the warmth of Sundays.

A Sunday Story didn't begin with a business plan.

Domi and Nour at home, surrounded by paintings

It began more than thirty years ago, with two little girls who met at the French Lycée in London and never really stopped exploring the world together. Growing up between Britain, France and the wider world, we were fortunate enough to spend our childhood surrounded by creativity. Weekends were rarely spent in shopping centres, but wandering antique markets and brocantes with our parents, searching for hidden treasures. Summer holidays unfolded in old family houses filled with paintings, worn linen, handmade ceramics and furniture collected over generations. New cities were explored through galleries, museums, flea markets and quiet streets rather than tourist attractions.

Without realising it, we were learning how to recognise craftsmanship, character and timeless beauty. We discovered that the most valuable objects weren't always the most expensive: they were the ones with history, soul and a story to tell. We learnt that the best homes aren't bought all at once; they're collected over a lifetime. Those early experiences shaped everything that followed.

Over the next twenty years, Nour built a career in luxury fashion, hospitality and culture, from leading PR for Christian Louboutin in London to creating exceptional experiences at Claridge's and, most recently, heading events at The Arts Club Dubai. With an instinct for detail, atmosphere and originality, she understands how the world's most admired brands create beauty that feels effortless.

Domitille spent two decades building brands across Europe, the GCC and the UK, leading marketing, communications and creative strategy for luxury hotels, restaurants, agencies and international businesses. A natural storyteller, she has built her career helping brands discover what makes them distinctive and unforgettable.

Years later we found each other again in Dubai, a city where almost everyone carries stories from somewhere else and where homes are shaped by memories of Britain, France, Europe, the Middle East, family, travels, markets, old houses and favourite holidays. We wanted to bring that feeling of home here, not by recreating one country or one style, but by collecting the warmth of many places and letting them live together beautifully.

Together, we bring a lifetime of collecting and more than forty years of combined experience in luxury, branding, hospitality and design.

A Sunday Story is where those worlds come together.
